Last summer, we dove into the Xbox version of the critically acclaimed Crow Country and discovered that this PS1-era-inspired horror adventure, developed by SnipperClips creators SFB Games, hit all the right notes. First of all, it’s incredibly fun and funny, while also being dense and eerie at the same time. The pacing is excellent, with a compact play area filled with countless neat little touches.

We were surprised that the game hadn’t made its way to the Nintendo Switch yet, but that time has finally come! SFB Games has just announced the release date, and Nintendo Switch-only gamers won’t have to wait long. The game will be available on the Nintendo eShop starting October 16, 2024, for £16.75 / €19.49 / $19.99. Crow Country has already been available on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 since June of this year for the same price.

Additionally, Crow Country will be fully localized for the Japanese market across all platforms alongside its Nintendo Switch release.

Not only did Retrolike.net find merit in this unusual indie game, giving it an 8.8/10, but the game also received a ‘Strong’ rating on OpenCritic, with a 91% recommendation rate and an average score of 83%. So, don’t sleep on it and mark the 16th in your agenda.
