During the last Evercade Showcase in August, Blaze Entertainment announced a new line of retro indie collections named the Indie Heroes Collection, with its first edition already launched in October. These collections offer developers of newly developed retro games, designed for retro video game platforms, a chance to present their games outside the sphere of their respective retro platform communities.
Although we had some critical notes to make in our review of Indie Heroes Collection 2, we do have high expectations for the third collection, which has been on the Evercade roadmap since the beginning of this year. Today, Evercade released the trailer revealing the 13 games on the card in February of next year.
Two games from the first edition make their return with enhanced editions: Alien Cat 2 and Doodle World Redrawn. All others are fairly unknown to us, so in the mission to introduce the Evercade community to new games Blaze already succeeded.
