In anticipation of Sonic Superstars’ impending release, Sega is turning up the PR machine a teenie bit more with some fun content reveals. Today Sega revealed another new track of the OST. And it is undeniably Sonic and extremely funky. The track by composer Rintaro Soma features sounds from the Northstar Islands, specifically, Pinball Carnival Zone Act 1, alongside visuals from the Zone to give fans a sneak peek into the wide variety of music players will experience when playing. Although we weren’t able to review the game, we were still on the high from the formidable Shadow Gambit : The Cursed Crew. The game got mid-80s scores on all its versions of the game on metacritic. Our Gamescom reporter, Fleaman, has been on the lookout for retro-inspired games on the world’s biggest video game gathering. Of course, this year the retro and indie sections of the convention floor have plenty of retro-like goodness to discover.
