“Alone in a secluded cabin during a violent storm, horror illustrator Stacey Linden discovers the true meaning of fear.” Can you survive and stay alive as Assemble Entertainment and solo developer Tainted Pac bring us a new survival horror game today?

In “Suffer the Night,” you play as illustrator Stacey Linden, who receives an envelope containing a mysterious floppy disk. While playing through the terror-filled text-based adventure, a pale white man shows up at her door, urging her to finish the game. The strange and horrifying things within the game start becoming real… Can you survive the pale man’s grasp? Or will you succumb to the terrors around you?

The game is best described as a first-person survival horror meets text-based dungeon crawler with a unique take on the genre.

“Suffer the Night” is now available on Steam and GOG for £10.29GBP/€12.49EUR/$12.49USD, with a limited-time launch discount of 20%.

Metroidvania's, soulslike or any game that calls for self-flagellation is what this dutch guy loves. How harder and relentless the game is, the more joy he gets out of it. But don't tell anyone he likes some easy games as well.
