Clock tower (Snes) gets it’s first official worldwide release

The first Clock Tower game in the franchise never had an official release outside of Japan until now. During Limited Run’s latest showcase, it was revealed that the game is getting a remaster for modern consoles. The remaster is a collaborative effort between Capcom, Sunsoft, WayForward, and Limited Run.

The original Clock Tower game was released in 1995 in Japan for the Super Famicom and spawned four games in the franchise, with the last game being released two decades ago for the PS2. In this survival horror point-and-click adventure franchise, the player is typically involved in hiding and escaping from enemy pursuers without any weapons to defeat them. Scissorman is a recurring antagonist and sometimes the sole enemy in the game.

Clock Tower Remastered is scheduled for release in early 2024 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Metroidvania's, soulslike or any game that calls for self-flagellation is what this dutch guy loves. How harder and relentless the game is, the more joy he gets out of it. But don't tell anyone he likes some easy games as well.
