In our preview of Hyper Sentinel Fusion we already hinted at a July launch for the Kickstarter campaign, and as of today, you can back the project by Huey Games. The campaign still has a way to go, but it has already pulled in more than a hundred backers, with pledges just over 10 percent of its intended goal of around €32,000.

We’ve spent quite a bit of time with Hyper Sentinel Fusion and have a good sense of what the final game could deliver. The blend of Hewson Consultants classics Paradroid and Iridium with roguelite elements feels like a fresh, well balanced concept that should appeal both to fans of the originals and to players who thrive on roguelites.

Huey Games kept it simple and straightforward as there are only four reward tiers:

    • Early Bird 3.5″ Floppy – €52 :
      • USB Floppy Disk Physical Edition
      • Super Backer in the Credits
      • Verification Card
      • Hyper Sentinel: Fusion Digital Download

    • Digital Pack – € 20:

      • Your name in the credits
      • Backer Discord channel
      • Backer Role on Discord
    • 3.5″ Floppy (Non-early bird) – €58 : This is a non-discounted version of the Early Bird tier.
    • Fallen Hero – €175 :
      • Fallen Hero
      • Beta Access [on PC/Mac via Steam]
      • Certificate of Authenticity
      • Fallen Hero Role on Discord
      • USB Floppy Disk Physical Edition
      • Super Backer in the Credits
      • Verification Card
      • Hyper Sentinel: Fusion Digital Download
      • Backer Discord channel

The Fallen Hero pledge offers a look inside the development process, with the team actively inviting its Fallen Heroes to give feedback and even contribute ideas ahead of the game’s launch. These elite backers will gain access to beta tests and have their names listed in the Fallen Hero log, which will appear in the game.

The campaign will run until August 2, so there is still plenty of time to join the backers. In addition to the launch itself, Huey Games has laid out a roadmap leading up to the game’s release. The roadmap includes an early access period following initial beta testing which will be open to Fallen Hero backers. The roadmap also confirms that console ports are in development, without locking them behind stretch goals.
