We are getting ready for Gamescom. We have reporter and Dutch/German retrogaming’s “bon vivant”, Dennis Fleaman on the show floor, ready to pick up all the juicy news from the convention floor!
Of course we are in it for the retrolike games and the preshow for Opening Night Live dropped some trailers already which showed some cool stuff. Although Gamescom never has been a event for new game reveals, it does usually guaranteed first gameplay trailers and launch dates.
Streets of Rogue 2
First of all, Streets of Rogue 2, has been in development in for quite a while, but we were treated with a official reveal trailer. Tinybuild games expanded on the first game with more open world RPG sandbox 2D action. It hints quite a bit at GTA and Far Cry series and looks like a lot of fun.
Mandragora
Another game that received a real gameplay trailer was Mandragora. The metroidvania / Soulslike combo we came to know and love form Blasphemous looks to be the case here as well. It looks more like Bloodstained than the aforementioned Blasphemous, and we are excited to see it coming out in somewhere in 2024.
Check out the trailer on youtube (as it cannot be embedded due to age restrictions).
