PLAION REPLAI has announced that four officially licensed arcade classics are set to arrive on November 21, 2025, for Atari’s 2600+ and 7800+ consoles. The line-up includes Galaga, PAC-MAN Double Feature, Dig Dug, and Xevious, all fully compatible with the original Atari 7800 hardware.

The collection is part of PLAION’s “Unlock 1982” initiative, highlighting a landmark year in arcade history. In 1982, PAC-MAN first made its way to the Atari 2600, while Galaga lit up U.S. arcades, and Dig Dug and Xevious debuted in Japan. More than four decades later, these releases bring that moment back to life in cartridge form.

    The Games

    Galaga – Alien Swarm Attack!
Namco’s legendary shooter returns with its relentless alien waves and the iconic dual-fighter mechanic. Rescue captured ships and climb the high-score tables in one of the most celebrated arcade games of all time.

PAC-MAN Double Feature – Two Games. One Legend.
The maze-chasing icon comes in two versions: the original Atari 2600 release and the upgraded 7800 edition. Both offer their own take on outsmarting Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde.

Dig Dug – Dig Deep. Pump Fast!
A quirky mix of puzzle and action, Dig Dug tasks players with tunneling underground, inflating enemies, or crushing them with falling rocks.

Xevious – Blast the Sky. Bomb the Earth.
Pilot the Solvalou fighter in Namco’s influential vertical shooter. Dual attacks let players strike airborne and ground enemies, with hidden secrets waiting to be uncovered.
