Hamster announced that Namco’s arcade and TurboGrafx-16 classic, Splatterhouse, is coming to Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4, Today (June 22nd)!
“Splatter house” is an action game released by NAMCO (Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.) in 1988. Take control of the hero, Rick, and use the power of the spirit in your mask to make your way through the cursed mansion to rescue your girlfriend Jennifer. Fight off merciless monsters to get out of the haunted mansion alive!
Apart from the TurboGrafx and Wii’s Virtual Console, Splatter House hasn’t seen many console (re-)releases, so it is a nice fit for Hamster’s Arcade Archive library. Especially since this is the original Arcade release, whereas the Virtual Console release was the TurboGrafx version. The game is available now for the usual $7.99/€7.99 on both digital storefronts.
