We already reported on the huge success Mergen & Blade claimed with 500,000 players on Xbox (Game Pass) and Steam combined. Now developer Magic Cube blew up the already scheduled up dat with more new content than originally intended. The update includes 8 new characters and 2 new missions.
Inherent to the gameplay, each character’s abilities adds a whole new dynamic to the gameplay. The added 8 additional characters will definitely shake up the game experience quite a bit. Details on the characters and modes are a bit sketch as of now. We will add more info as soon as it
In addition to new content, the update also includes balance adjustments and UI improvements.
This update will be released on Steam first. The XBOX version will be updated as soon after with additional work such as cross-play support.
