Dungeon Golf got a Spooky free Update

For those who are gearing up for Halloween and enjoy the entire ‘Spooky Season’ leading up to it, you might want to check out the new update for Dungeon Golf, created by former Rockstar industry veteran Tony Gowland. “The Undead Lair” update introduces an additional 6-hole Halloween-themed multiplayer course to the game, along with a 9-hole spooky adventure in the single-player story mode.

    Dungeon Golf

For those who are not familiar with the game, Dungeon Golf is, of course, mini golf in a dungeon! It’s a colorful multiplayer mini golf party game where each hole is filled with traps, hazards, and pesky inhabitants that can get in your way. Up to four players can choose from a cast of characters, each with their own unique characteristics and abilities. The courses feature various traps and features that can change the game’s outcome with a single stroke.

In addition to the multiplayer, Dungeon Golf also includes a single-player story mode in which you face computer-controlled characters in various quests, each divided into 9-hole levels. Furthermore, completing in-game challenges enables you to unlock new abilities, courses, sponsorship deals, and much more.

    Undead Lair Update

The update that is currently available adds content to both the game’s single-player and multiplayer modes, all of which is, of course, filled with cartoonish, colorful gruesomeness.

Descend into the all-new 6-hole golf course; set in a sinister, swampy graveyard, it’s lined with tombstones and fiercely protected by all kinds of loathsome beasts. Putt up a fight and show ’em what fore in this ultimate Halloween playground. We’ve even decked the place out with pumpkins, as well as spiders that scuttle creepily around the map (it’s called interior design).

On top of that, 9 fiendish levels of freshly concocted challenges await in the Creepy Classic Golf Quest, with newly upgraded CPU opponents to test your prowess. Best of all, this brand new content comes in at the low, low price of… absolutely nothing. That’s right! Undead Lair is completely free for Dungeon Golf players, and it will be a permanent addition to the game.

New to Dungeon Golf? It’s mini golf in a dungeon, duh! Whack your way through lava, traps, and monsters to become the ultimate Dungeon Golf champ, challenging up to 3 pals (online or on the couch) or trying your luck solo in story mode. Choose from 8 eccentric characters, each with their own unique strengths and abilities, and use the dungeon’s many obstacles to your advantage. But be warned: after this, you won’t want to touch plain old regular golf again.*
