Since its release on Steam in August 2023, Kill the Crows has been met with high praise for its fast-paced action and distinctive gameplay. Riding this wave of success, developer 5minlab has now launched a newly refined version of the game on Nintendo Switch, a little over a year after its initial debut, for the price of an artisan “Flat White“: €/$ 4,49.
Kill the Crows unfolds in a twisted Wild West setting, placing players in the shoes of “Isabella,” a revenge-driven gunslinger. She faces off against fanatical cultists who worship a mysterious faction of humanoid crows, culminating in action-packed shootouts.
The Nintendo Switch edition brings fresh content, including the addition of a “Curse” system that challenges players even further. Curses alter the gameplay mechanics, such as making enemy attacks more intricate or veiling parts of the screen in darkness, raising the stakes for those seeking a tougher experience.
Additionally, the Switch version makes full use of the Joy-Con controllers, offering a tactile feedback system that enhances the feel of shooting with revolvers. The aiming mechanics have also been reworked to suit handheld play, and the overall difficulty has been recalibrated to provide a smoother gameplay experience.
The release was first announced during Nintendo’s Direct stream in August, and Kill the Crows is now available on the Nintendo eShop with language support for English, Spanish, Chinese, Turkish, German, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean.
