HAMSTER Co is continuing to expand their ever-growing arcade archives at a rapid pace. Their next installment is Mazinger Z, a classic from the Arcades and Famicom system.

Released in 1994 by Banpresto only in Japan, Mazinger Z received positive reviews on release. Based on the manga with the same name, you play as giant super robots in this vertical shoot ’em up game. You can take the helm behind 3 different robots: Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, and Grendizer. By shooting, punching, and using super weapons, you take on the evil Dr. Hell and his underground empire.

Optimized for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, it offers extra game settings as you would expect from an HAMSTER Co Arcade Archives game. We are excited to play yet another arcade classic – are you?

Mazinger z is available now on playstation 4 and Nintendo switch for $/€ 14,99

Metroidvania's, soulslike or any game that calls for self-flagellation is what this dutch guy loves. How harder and relentless the game is, the more joy he gets out of it. But don't tell anyone he likes some easy games as well.
