Dotemu surprised us with one of the best retro-minded games last year. TMNT Shredder’s Revenge was a real blast from the past with its great pixel art style and brawler gameplay. We spent many hours playing as Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo, and their friends. So we are ecstatic to learn that the game is getting an expansion with many new features, as you can see in the trailer below.

Trailer TMNT Shredder’s Revenge: Dimension Shellshock new DLC

The DLC will contain a new game mode, New character colors and new playable characters including Usagi Yojimbo a ninja rabbit

Here is an overview, via Dotemu:

    A Multiversal Melee Awaits

Chaos! The Neutrinos crash the Turtles’ latest pizza party! The teenagers from Dimension X are in dire need of help: Shredder is seeking to conquer the multiverse itself! Our heroes need to jump between dimensions and stop Shredder once and for all.

New Playable Characters Join the party

“Dimension Shellshock” brings new playable fighters, including the razor-sharp Usagi Yojimbo. The steely rabbit samurai is ready to hop across dimensions to fight evil and witness a new style of otherworldly battles awaiting the Turtles.

Metroidvania's, soulslike or any game that calls for self-flagellation is what this dutch guy loves. How harder and relentless the game is, the more joy he gets out of it. But don't tell anyone he likes some easy games as well.
