Back in 2000, with the launch of the PlayStation 2, Fantavision was one of the first games you could get your hands on. With its unique fireworks gameplay, it became a minor hit and was praised for its beautiful color palette. After a digital HD remaster release in February on the PS5, it is now receiving an official limited physical deluxe edition release.

In North America, a 2,000 print run of ESRB-rated FANTAVISION 202X standard edition copies will be available for $29.99 exclusively via Video Games Plus.

In Europe, a 2,000 print run of PEGI-rated FANTAVISION 202X Deluxe Edition copies will be available exclusively via Red Art Games’ online store. It will include a copy of the game, wraparound box sleeve, PlayStation 2-inspired reversible cover, and a double-sided poster (with one side inspired by the Japanese PlayStation 2 version’s manual).

FANTAVISION 202X is available now digitally for PlayStation 5 with PlayStation VR2 support, and PC via Steam worldwide.

    About Fantavision

FANTAVISION, the masterpiece action puzzle game released on console in 2000 is back!

Sparkling images of fireworks exploding on screen and a simple but deep gameplay once you get the hang of it. The immersive and addictive experience of diving into fireworks has been greatly enhanced with this one-of-a-kind experience!

The long-awaited follow-up to one of the very first games released for PlayStation 2 in 2000, FANTAVISION 202X is a unique puzzle game about detonating fireworks.

Bring dazzling explosions of color and light to the night sky by catching groups of at least three matching fireworks, then firing them off to create beautiful displays in glorious 4K resolution.

    Features:

    • Stunning Graphics in Full HD and 4K – Fully rebuilt and updated in Unreal Engine, FANTAVISION 202X‘s multicolored environment and fireworks displays look better than ever in full 4K.
    • Compatible with PS VR2 – You’ve never experienced FANTAVISION like this. Enjoy dedicated VR Stages that make the most of PlayStation VR2’s advanced features. With PlayStation VR2, you can fully immerse yourself in FANTAVISION‘s pyrotechnic world and play dedicated VR Stages. Use the PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers to catch fireworks with greater accuracy, and feel their explosive power through haptic feedback.
    • Enjoy the Show with Replay Mode – The new replay mode lets you change viewpoints, add special effects and freeze time so you can admire the spectacular displays you create.

Metroidvania's, soulslike or any game that calls for self-flagellation is what this dutch guy loves. How harder and relentless the game is, the more joy he gets out of it. But don't tell anyone he likes some easy games as well.
