    Nightdive studios brings back more classic FPS

    Nightdive studios well known for bringing back remastered versions of classic games. Has just announced that Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion and Star Wars: Dark Forces will come to modern systems.

    Star Wars: Dark Forces

    Star Wars: Dark Forces is best known for being one of the better doom clones back in the days. It was also a fan favorite and precursor to the Jedi Knight Franchise. The remaster will come with upgraded visuals (4k up to 120fps) Advanced 3D rendering (better lightning and effects) gamepad support, Remastered cutscenes and “content” and of course achievements.

    Star wars Dark Forces will release somewhere in “Q4 2023”

    Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion

    Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is a faithful restoration of the classic first-person shooter originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64, upgraded through Nightdive Studios’ proprietary KEX Engine for play on modern gaming devices with up to a 4K resolution at 120FPS. With this release Nightdive remastered all of the original trilogy.

    the remaster comes along with upgraded gameplay, high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting and rendering, and support for console gamepads with platform-specific features.

    Turok 3 will release for modern systems on November 14, 2023

    Metroidvania's, soulslike or any game that calls for self-flagellation is what this dutch guy loves. How harder and relentless the game is, the more joy he gets out of it. But don't tell anyone he likes some easy games as well.
