It have been joyful times for 2D pixel art JRPG fans, as new games are released at a high frequency. Tomorrow, RPG fans should definitely boot up their Steam app. As of tomorrow a free demo version of Elemasta, a pixel art open-world RPG, will be available for download on Steam. Created by renowned pixel artist Hikaru Kobayashi, Elemasta invites players to go on a nostalgic adventure through beautifully designed 2D worlds.

We can explore a vast open world, level up, gather allies, and collect powerful weapons and armor with over 3,000 types to choose from and collect. The game features over 800 pixel-drawn monsters and more than 300 potential companions to join you on your journey. The game will be available in both Japanese and English once it gets out, with no mention of other languages.

The demo offers a 15-minute score attack mode, where you are challenged to achieve a high score through quest completions, treasure hunts, and party-building. Players that play the demo are encouraged to share their results online, making it a community experience. Elemasta still does not have a definitive release date, but is set to release somewhere in 2025. Alongside the full game’s release, a pixel art digital art book DLC will be available which certainly interesting for such a visually outspoken game.

Download the the demo on Steam, here!
