Back in 2015, Nightdive Studios acquired the rights to the cult classic System Shock from 1994. They released an enhanced version of the game. Shortly after, Nightdive Studios announced their plan to create a full-fledged remake. They aimed to fund its development through a Kickstarter campaign that started on June 29th, with a goal of US$900,000.
