Metroidvania's, soulslike or any game that calls for self-flagellation is what this dutch guy loves. How harder and relentless the game is, the more joy he gets out of it. But don't tell anyone he likes some easy games as well.

This Swords & Bones 2 review is made by playing the Nintendo Switch version. Swords and Bones 2 is also available on PC (Steam) Last year, I played the first Swords and Bones on my Series X. However, the game didn’t live up to my expectations. While the graphics were nice, the overall experience was mostly mediocre. So, I approached this second entry with a bit of…

Many of us gamers (especially us) feel a lot of nostalgia for the pixel art styles of the past, and even with the constant evolution and improvement of realistic graphics, it is hard to beat a great pixel art game. Today Indie developer La Moutarde in partnership with…

I have always been a big fan of pixel art and Metroidvania-type games. Those who know me are aware of my penchant for challenging games that push my limits. Any game that combines these elements instantly finds a place on my “must-play” list. So, when I first saw footage of Chronicles of 2 Heroes, my “self-flagellation” sense started tingling. Its fast-paced combat and platforming looked intense and exactly what I wanted to experience. After spending roughly 10 hours playing the game, I can say that Chronicles of 2 Heroes offers its fair share of fun but also has a few…

With its immersive tactical gameplay, I spent countless hours engrossed in it, quickly elevating it to one of the greatest games of all time on my list. Therefore, I was ecstatic to hear about its remake, although initially, it was announced exclusively for the…
