French publisher Microids and Virtuallyz Gaming have announced that they are bringing back the classic arcade rail shooter with “Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR.”
This is a reimagined take on the arcade classic, built with a new artistic direction while remaining faithful to the spirit of the original game. In Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR, you play as a special agent fighting a new criminal organization, trying to dismantle their organization, free the hostages and save the world from their newly developed power weapon. Like the classic arcade version, the game offers a side-scrolling rail shooter, but now in VR. So, pack up your gear and start blasting away!

Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission VR will be available June 22nd, 2023 on Meta Quest 2, PlayStation VR 2 and Pico 4.A non VR version will also be available in Fall 2023 in a digital version as well as a Day One Edition on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The game will be available exclusively in digital form on Xbox One, Xbox Series S and PC.
